Redemption
After my mini-rant about turn-outs was nice to see a well-filled Limelight for tonight's Sinocence gig. In between a series of unavoidable commitments I nipped in and caught 15 minutes of Residual Effect. They were, as usual, laying down an awesome wall of extreme metal noise. Would have loved to stay for the rest but...anyone want to comment on the rest of the acts? Post away please!

There may have been a good turnout but who actually enjoyed themselves? From what I could see everyone was standing around with their hands in their pockets and just nodding their heads in tokenism to the fact it was a METAL gig. This is the second time I've seen this at the Limelight - is everyone afraid of security? Second time I've seen Residual Effect and they were pretty impressive - which is more than can be said about Sinocence... metal by numbers. I left after four songs and went to watch the riot around the corner - far more entertaining!
