YOU may remember we gave a pretty positive review of the latest release from Sonata Artica's new album 'Ninth Hour' (review is here).
Well hence our delight when The Distortion Project confirmed that they have snagged a Belfast gig for the Finnish melodic metallers! The date is Saturday, March 25th in Limelight2.
As if that wasn't enough they have Finnish outfit Thunderstone and Canuck metallers Striker on the line up too...some have fans have the band were caught swooning like l'il girls.
Keyboard player of Sonata Arctica Henrik ‘Henkka’ Klingenberg said about the UK and Irish tour:
“It´s been far too long since we had a chance to do a proper UK and Irish tour, so of course we’re really happy to finally be able to announce the shows, as part of our European leg of ‘The Ninth Hour’ world tour. See you at the shows!”
The band play Dublin the night after the Limelight show
Tickets, priced at a measly £22 go on sale this week, grab 'em while you can!
