I think its a great idea to see a side project support the main event.
Although in the case of Mr Dickinson doing solo material in support of Maiden, one can only dream, although I could see Blaze in support become a reality more than Bruce.

I see no problem with that myself. I always wanted to see Bruce Dickenson play some of his solo stuff as a warm up for Maiden.
